The Connect West Economic Development Partnership is a collaborative initiative aimed at accelerating economic growth, fostering innovation, and creating new opportunities for businesses and residents in western Hinds County.

The purpose of Connect West is to increase the tax base and the economic footprint of western Hinds County, through the attraction of investment in the retail, industrial, residential construction, and all commercial market sectors. This will be accomplished through the direction and support of an Executive Committee & Board of Directors – made up of dues-paying stakeholders. The Connect West Economic Development Partnership consists of two entities, Connect West and The Connect Foundation. Both contribute to the economic development efforts in western Hinds County.
